The Hangover: Alison Krauss Makes It All Better

Saturday night left you in need of something softer this morning. We’ve got a pretty strong suggestion.  The all-time leader in female Grammy wins would like to drop in, sing like angels sing and, along with copious amounts of hydration, make you feel better.

Even if you don’t love country / bluegrass, if you get the chance to see Alison Krauss sing live, you must. Incredibly, it’s better. I don’t know how that’s possible, but just take my word for it.  Here’s a few.

If I Didn’t Know Any Better from 2004’s Lonely Runs Both Ways. Jerry Douglas’ dobro sings background vocals on this one (shivers).

Oh, lookey here at what I found. Live, kiddos. Told’ya.

Turns out Jerry and his dobro make the most of it. We haven’t specifically mentioned “Union Station,” but they’re equal to the task of being insanely impressive. Good luck with the headache.
