This post is both handedly (yes, we’re accomplished typists) dedicated to the fine folks over at WNRN. If you live in a town, city, region or state with a commerical free, public radio station that consistently plays amazing music the rest of radio world doesn’t get to hear, throw’em a donation. Seriously. They make life better.
WNRN played this one the other night and because this is one of my favorite Bob Dylan songs ever, I took immediate interest. Good thing, too.
Mike Ness is a punk rock staple and a founding member of Social Distortion. He’s shared stages with anyone who’s anyone in the punk rock scene, been named an influence by Pearl Jam . . . plus he’s even spent a good deal of time playing live with Springsteen here and there. Point is, the dude has chops.
We loved his original take on the Dylan classic Don’t Think Twice, It’s All Right, but more than that, we love the place we heard it. Here’s hoping everyone out there can find something similar to contribute to the overall health and well-being of your ears.
