Kickstart: Grace Potter & The Nocturnals

We’ve got some INLE Live coverage to get to, but in the meantime we’ll open with an opener.  Charlottesville put on some heavenly autumn weather and welcomed us for The Avett Brothers. We saw other things as well.

Before Grace Potter & The Nocturnals took the stage, a friend warned that Grace Potter had a “look” about her. Wowza. Indeed. She’s a leggy, hair tossing, wailing, Vermont native. Vermont. And you thought it was all maple syrup and cleverly named ice cream.  Nope.  Their most recent, self-titled album arrived in June and odds are good that we’ll spend some time with it before too long.

Here’s one to get the week started. Coincidentally, this particular performance happens to have been filmed in a neat little part of East Tennessee where we’ll end our week, too.

Good Monday and a good week to all. INLE Live coming as soon as is humanly possible.

Ridiculously sexy. Nasvhille readers – Grace and crew have shows in town on the 30th and 31st of this month. You will find me blushing in the crowd.
